Niaouli Materia Medica

$5.00

Niaouli is a general tonic that strengthens the immune system, stimulates the production of white blood cells and immunoglobulins, thins the blood and otherwise enhances blood circulation. Niaouli destroys intestinal parasites and exerts a tonic action upon the gastrointestinal tract, and so, in the Middle East, niaouli tea has long been used to ameliorate intestinal sluggishness. In fact, niaouli is used to prevent radiation burns during a course of radiation therapy.

Niaouli is used in New Caledonia to purify water and the French have used the oil as a disinfectant in their obstetric wards and gynecology practice. It is also commonly used as an antiseptic ingredient in toothpastes and mouthwashes.

On a spiritual level, niaouli is thought to refresh and uplift the spirit and to aid communication with the inner self as well as past life healing.
