Part I of my 2-part discussion of mastic essential oil. It is an important, yet lesser-used essential oil. If the healing potential of this oil were better known, it would certainly be upgraded from its “lesser-used” status. It is a powerful healing oil on both the psychospiritual and physical levels. In this first part of my discussion of the oil, I will focus on its identity as a psychospiritual healing agent.

Chinese medicine teaches that everyone over 30 years old should do moxa therapy on Stomach 36, and that those over 40 should do it multiple times per week, to maintain health and help ensure longevity. Part 3 of this discussion will be presented in the upcoming live members class and the final live class before the summer break (July and August) scheduled for this Tuesday, 6/24/25. Find the entry link at the end of today’s Journal issue. I will demonstrate how to use both a moxa stick and moxa cones.

I demonstrate how the Fire/Earth Cardio-Gastro Essential Oil Blend is formulated and how to use it. It is a good blend to use as part of a protocol for digestive weakness, tightness of the diaphragm, chest symptoms related to stomach issues including acid reflux, abdominal bloating and hiatal hernia.
