Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the difference between Spiritual PhytoEssencing and aromatherapy? What is the difference between Spiritual PhytoEssencing and homeopathy?

Both aromatherapy and homeopathy act at the emotional/physical interface. In homeopathy, and commonly in aromatherapy, the ultimate intent of the practitioner is to ameliorate emotional and physical symptoms. Spiritual PhytoEssencing works at the interface of mind and soul and the intent is psychospiritual harmonization, real self-actualization and progress toward wholeness of being.

Like aromatherapy, Spiritual PhytoEssencing employs essential oils, and like homeopathy, it employs homeopathic dilutions. (In homeopathy, the dilutions are prepared from various plant, animal and mineral substances. The Spiritual PhytoEssencing dilutions are prepared exclusively from customized essential oil blends.)

While Spiritual PhytoEssencing shares some of the central features of both aromatherapy and homeopathy, it is nevertheless a distinct art unto itself.

Does Spiritual PhytoEssencing replace the use of aromatherapy and/or homeopathy?

No. This is like asking if stretching exercises replace aerobic training or whether fruits replace vegetables in one’s diet. Aromatherapy and/or homeopathy may be indicated for, and highly effective, in the treatment of certain emotional and physical disorders.

Spiritual PhytoEssencing focuses primarily upon psychospiritual harmonization, real self-actualization and progress toward wholeness of being rather than upon disease symptom amelioration and so, in deeply inertial, chronic cases, may prove to be a valuable synergist to both aromatherapy and homeopathy, and vice versa. The creative and skilled practitioner can learn to incorporate all three of these modalities into a vibrant, interactive protocol.
