Reminder: Live Class – Tuesday 10/21/25 – Low back pain

I have decided to break the subject of low back pain up into 2 classes. The first of these will provide rare insight into how to analyze your low back pain (i.e., where in the low back it is coming from and which fascia zones, trigger points and acupoint channels are involved), the different structural components of the low back and the integrated approach I have developed for my Natural Health Science System to resolve it.

Watch Recorded Class – NHSS Stomach 36 Combined Acupoint Moxa Protocols; Next Live Class Rescheduled to 21st Oct

Watch Recorded Class – NHSS Stomach 36 Combined Acupoint Moxa Protocols; Next Live Class Rescheduled to 21st Oct

I have created several protocols combining Stomach 36 with other easily located acupoints to treat various common problems such as stomach weakness and fatigue. Perhaps, the most intriguing protocol is the combination of Stomach 36 with an arm point referred to as Fire Bowel Ocean that can be used regularly to increase longevity.  I am going through all of these protocols in complete detail in this recording. The protocols also incorporate color light therapy and customized essential oil blends. I present all of the blend formulas in detail and discuss how to blend them.

Vitamin K2 Article; Moxa Source; L’shana Tova

In a couple of days, my latest article for members will be posted in the Member Zone. This article is a continuation of the series of articles that I have been posting regarding foods and supplements that can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. Regarding the first method – the moxa stick method (the burning tip of the moxa stick is held about 1″ (2.5 cm) away from the skin), I have always been put off by the paper wrapping. After all, who wants to inhale burning paper. So, for a number of years, I have searched for a stick with very pure wrapping. The good news is that I have at last found what I have been looking for. Finally for those of you, who like me, will be observing the Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashanah) which begins at sundown tonight: L’shana tova!

Watch Class: SPE Palace Hierarchy Essential Oil Blend Formulation Method (PH Method)

Watch Class: SPE Palace Hierarchy Essential Oil Blend Formulation Method (PH Method)

It recently occurred to me that I could extrapolate an ancient method of Chinese herbal formulation (based upon the hierarchical organization of an emperor’s court) for the purpose of creating a basic, easy-to-understand way, for my students to be able to create deeper acting essential oil blends. I have named this method, the SPE Palace Hierarchy Essential Oil Blend Formulation Method (PH Method).

Arterial Plaque vs. Elevated Blood Cholesterol and Increased Heart Attack Risk Part II: Aged Garlic and Berberine Supplementation

Build-up of arterial plaque can be reversed without the use of risky prescription drugs. In Part II of this article provides dietary strategies and nutritional supplements with the focus on aged garlic (and aged garlic extract) and berberine.

Arterial Plaque vs. Elevated Blood Cholesteroland Increased Heart Attack Risk; Dangers of Statin Drugs  Part I

Arterial Plaque vs. Elevated Blood Cholesteroland Increased Heart Attack Risk; Dangers of Statin Drugs  Part I

This article by Dr. Berkowsky challenges the long-held belief that elevated cholesterol causes heart disease. It refutes the idea of “bad” cholesterol, highlighting its essential roles in producing hormones, vitamin D, and maintaining cell and brain health. High cholesterol may instead be a symptom of other issues, such as liver or thyroid problems.

Also learn about statin drugs, commonly prescribed to lower cholesterol, for their serious side effects. These include depleting CoQ10 (vital for heart and muscle function), causing muscle pain, nerve damage, and potentially increasing cancer risk.

A recent study is cited, suggesting that existing arterial plaque, not cholesterol levels, is the primary predictor of future buildup and heart attack risk.

The Wide Spectrum Potential of the use of Moxa, Color Lights and Essential Oils on Acupoint Stomach 36; Entry link for Member’s live class: Tuesday 6/24/25

The Wide Spectrum Potential of the use of Moxa, Color Lights and Essential Oils on Acupoint Stomach 36; Entry link for Member’s live class: Tuesday 6/24/25

Read this article to view videos for Parts 1 & 2 of a 3 part discussion regarding the use of moxa, color lights and essential oils on one of the most important of all acupoints: Stomach 36. Chinese medicine teaches that everyone over 30 years old should do moxa therapy on Stomach 36, and that those over 40 should do it multiple times per week, to maintain health and help ensure longevity. Part 3 of this discussion will be presented in the upcoming live members class and the final live class before the summer break (July and August) scheduled for this Tuesday, 6/24/25. Find the entry link at the end of today’s Journal issue. I will demonstrate how to use both a moxa stick and moxa cones.

Recorded Class: Fire/Earth Cardio-Gastro Essential Oil Blend

I demonstrate how the Fire/Earth Cardio-Gastro Essential Oil Blend is formulated and how to use it. It is a good blend to use as part of a protocol for digestive weakness, tightness of the diaphragm, chest symptoms related to stomach issues including acid reflux, abdominal bloating and hiatal hernia.

Recorded Class: Heart-Stomach Connection: The Rationale for the Formulation of the Fire/Earth Cardio-Gastro Essential Oil Blend.

In Part 1, I provide in-depth details about the rarely discussed connection between the heart and stomach. This is a crucial, yet mostly ignored by health practitioners, anatomical and physiological connection. In Part 2 of the recording, I demonstrate techniques for relaxing the diaphragm, and the tissue tension in the epigastric regions (upper abdomen, below the ribs).

Live Class Recording: Heart-Chi Essential Oil Blends

Live Class Recording: Heart-Chi Essential Oil Blends

I opened the class with a review of the blends discussed in the prerecorded class links sent a week ago: Heart Central (general heart-chi tonic blend); Yin/Yang Balance Systole/Diasole Blend (balancing the Yin/Yang dynamics of Heart-chi and thus useful for polarity balancing of the entire body and for emotional balancing); Chi and Blood Pulmonary Circulation Blend (helps strengthen the body’s rhythmic system; excellent blend to use before breathing exercises, Chi Gong, Tai Chi, Yoga, aerobic exercises or just going for a brisk walk).

Then I presented an in-depth discussion of the Heart-Chi/Kidney-Chi Shao Yin Blend (supports the relationship between the Fire and Water elements within the organism; a good blend to be part of any protocol designed to treat anxiety, fatigue, and lack of vitality).

I will finish my discussion of this set of blends in the next prerecorded class. The final blend is Fire/Earth – Heart/Stomach Relationship Blend (a good blend to use as part of a protocol for digestive weakness, tightness of the diaphragm, chest symptoms related to stomach issues including acid reflux, abdominal bloating and hiatal hernia).

Heart-Chi Essential Oil Blends; Fire Element and the Emotions – Recorded Class Videos Available Now!

Heart-Chi Essential Oil Blends; Fire Element and the Emotions – Recorded Class Videos Available Now!

The focus of the class is the new series of SPE blends that I have developed called SPE Heart-Chi Blends. They are not intended to directly treat heart ailments. That would require dietary and lifestyle changes, supplements, exercise, etc. and, of course, professional supervision. Instead the blends are designed to help transform the chi (vital force) that flows to the heart and interrelated organs. April’s member’s-only live class is scheduled for next Tuesday 4/29/25.
